Whether you are new to ballet or are looking to get back to the barre after many years, we offer several levels of ballet classes that are all accompanied by our talented pianists. Adult ballet classes help improve posture, balance, strength and flexibility in an engaging and relaxed environment.

Choose the level that's right for you:

Adult Beginner Ballet is geared for adult students who have little to no prior ballet experience. A perfect introduction to dance, participants will be taught the basic fundamentals of ballet in an engaging and caring environment. All classes are accompanied by a live musician and are a great way to get moving, meet new friends, and further your appreciation for the art of dance.

Students are encouraged to spend 2 years in the Ballet Beginner level before moving on to Ballet Beginner Plus.

The Adult Beginner Plus class further develops of the skills learned in the Beginner level. Dancers will continue to clarify their skills and understanding of ballet technique. All classes are accompanied by a live musician and are a great way to get moving, meet new friends, and further your appreciation for the art of dance.

Students are encouraged to spend 2-3 years in the Ballet Beginner Plus level before moving on to Ballet 1.

Adult Ballet Level 1/2 is suitable for dancers with 2-3 years of previous experience. A greater focus on the progression of technique, strength and alignment, as well as an increase in the complexity of movement phrases. Students should have a good understanding of basic dance technique and vocabulary. All classes are accompanied by a live musician and are a great way to get moving, meet new friends, and further your appreciation for the art of dance.

Adult Ballet Level 3/4 is for dancers at an intermediate level with 5 years of previous experience. Students should have an intermediate understanding of dance technique and vocabulary. Classes will move quickly with an increase in the complexity and length of the exercises and phrases. All classes are accompanied by a live musician and are a great way to get moving, meet new friends, and further your appreciation for the art of dance.

Adult Advanced Ballet is designed for dancers with over five years of intensive training. Ideal for recent high school graduates of competitive or professional programs, university-level dance students, and professional dancers across genres, this class offers a focused and challenging environment to refine technique and artistry. 

Dancers at this level are recommended to supplement their training with the Adult Ballet 3/4 level or other community classes to maintain their strength, flexibility, and precision.

**Important Registration Information for Adult Advanced Classes: To ensure the safe and appropriate training of our adult dancers, all participants in Adult Advanced classes must participate in a complimentary trial placement class and be approved by the instructor prior to registration. This is also required before purchasing a 5-class pass or a drop-in pass.

The Five-Class-Pass is available for any ballet class. Classes are non-transferrable between sessions but can be used for any level.
